INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Spring is approaching rapidly, and thereby also International Women's Day.

At MUNTHE, women's rights and the fight for equality mean s a great deal to us, which is why we are very proud to once again collaborate with the Danish Women's Society to advocate for the cause of women. Even with efforts dating back to the first feminist wave in Denmark in 1800, there's still progress to be made. There are several examples where further progress is needed, such as equal pay, safety in relationships, and promoting overall well-being. Additionally, we need to understand that progress and greater equality are achievable if we all collaborate together towards that goal.

Together with the Danish Women's Society, MUNTHE designs a T-shirt annually to commemorate International Women's Day. The T-shirt is priced at 499 DKK (79 EUR), with 150 DKK (20 EUR) donated to the Danish Women's Society. The T-shirt is available in sizes 32-48, and is accessible on our website and in stores.

Fighting for equal rights and opportunities for all is one of MUNTHE's core values. Our goal and business philosophy are centered around putting women more on the agenda. We strive to embed this fundamental principle into everything we do: F rom the initial creative idea to production, marketing, and throughout the whole sales process. Furthermore, we spotlight inequality in the art world every Monday by featuring a female artist on our social media, in our newsletters, and on our website through our Art Monday concept.

Last year, we were fortunate enough to donate 101,500 DKK (13,625 EUR) to the Danish Women's Society, and we would like to thank everyone who supported the cause by purchasing the T-shirt. Our goal is to donate even more this year so that we can continue to support the battle against inequality.
