COME WITH US BEHIND THE SCENES OF OUR SS24 CAMPAIGN SHOOT
Our Spring Summer 24 collection has just landed with the finest artistic prints, patchwork denim, sequins, and a new MUNTHE emblem. Join us on a journey to Portugal and see how our campaign images came to life.
The cozy boutique hotel Marqi and the surrounding rocky coast, located an hour's drive outside Lisbon, set the stage for this Spring Summer 24 campaign. The campaign, shot by Danish fashion photographer Christian Friis, features models Erika Laba and Danielle Lashley from Lithuania and England. The hotel, originally used as a large mansion, has been renovated with a unique approach to layout and design, featuring a preference for 70s aesthetics and vintage furniture. Additionally, there is a large exotic garden with a pool. Throughout the property, there are intriguing small oases perfect for shooting.
In addition to Marqi, the local beach Praia da Adraga also served as the backdrop for several campaign images. The coastline west of Lisbon is truly special with its spectacular cliff formations, wild sea, and sandy beaches – no wonder locals flock here as soon as the thermometer climbs above 25 degrees.
A typical campaign shooting day usually starts early in the morning with breakfast, whereafter the models’ hair and makeup is done. The clothes are prepared, styling is perfected, and everything is steamed. Everyone on the team is briefed on their tasks for the campaign shoot. Then, the carefully selected locations become the backdrop for the shoot. Along the way, there's a lunch break, often accompanied by a status check on how things are going. As the day draws to a close, the final shots are captured, and a big high-five is shared amongst the team.
