We wanted to dive deeper into the study of simplicity by asking our Polish muse, Oliwia Pakosz, what she does to center herself.

We asked her to share the practices and rituals she follows to center herself in a world that often feels cluttered. Her response was a meditation on quietness and self-awareness, revealing how simplicity can be a pathway to clarity and calm.

It’s always about returning to the little rituals that make me feel grounded. Slow mornings at home with my favorite music playing softly in the background. The calming rhythm of making coffee or tea — a simple act that feels like a pause button for the mind.

Long walks in nature, especially when the sun is out, help me reconnect. I often slip away to my favorite coffee place — not just for the coffee, but for the comfort of familiar surroundings, the quiet hum of life around me. And when I really need to reset, a quiet moment in my favorite gallery does wonders. It’s never one big thing — just a collection of small, beautiful moments.
